Welcome!

My name is Sam. I love to cook. I love to eat. I love to buy produce. I love to try new recipes as often as possible. Most of all I love sharing food with friends & family. It makes me happy. I have so many recipes to try. I created this website to celebrate and share the recipes that I love to cook and the food that I love to eat. I am not a gourmet chef or a food stylist or a professional photographer. I am a home cook.  I am a wife and mother of two. The photos you see on this site are usually taken right before we start eating the food.  For me food needs to be fresh, in season, healthy, tasty, uncomplicated. Cooking is about confidence, practice & time. Sometimes you have a lot of time, sometimes you need a dinner in 10 minutes. I hope you find a recipe here that inspires you to cook and that you enjoy cooking.

Love the photo Sam,
The macaroons are divine too - a definite HIT in my house will give the blue eye cod a try over the weekend.
Keep up the good work

Got the courage to make the coconut cake for Georgia's 13th Birthday dinner!
The family just loved it, there was not a crumb left on their plates!
